Why use Northland Security Services(NSS)?

  • National UL listed montitoring company. It costs a lot of money to create a monitoring service, and unless you are one of the major national security companies that can afford such expenses, you contract this service out. NSS contracts with US Monitoring in Oklahoma City. Some will argue that monitoring needs to be done locally, but we all know it's just a phone call. Whether it's 2 miles or 200 miles away, it's just a phone connection between your house or business and a monitoring company. And the only requirement after that is the how the service is handled. US Monitoring is always polite, professional and responsive to the needs of those they are monitoring.

  • No long term contract. Actually no contract at all. Monitoring is month to month. If you're happy with NSS and you pay your bill, we're all happy:-) Should you decide to move out of town, you won't have the worry of paying off the balance of a 3 year contract. If you become dissatisfied with the service NSS supplies, you don't have to be worried about being tied down with us.

  • Service Agreement is not tied into monthly monitoring. If you don't want a Service Agreement, then you don't have to pay for it.

  • Service Agreement is there if you want it. For an additional monthly fee you can have our Service Agreement. This means that you can call for service without fear of it costing you an arm and a leg. Some competitors quote a minimum of $99 for the 1st half hour to service your system. With a low cost Service Agreement, there is no charge for labor. The hours are limited to normal business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. You must be a NSS monitored customer to get a Service Agreement.

  • NSS sells non-proprietary security systems. What that means to you is that just about any competitor can step in and monitor your system should you decide to leave NSS.

  • Money in your pocket. Monitoring security systems is not magic. It's a service that has been around for years and has enjoyed far too many years of being priced at a premium. Contact some of the big boys on the block and ask what their monthly monitoring fees are, then calculate your savings.
